On this week’s episode of A State Of Trance, Armin van Buuren hinted at a Classics Stage for the ’s 00th celebration festival in 2021.

During the ASOT 950 Utrecht lineup revelation segment, Armin van Buuren addressed the reason behind not adding a Classics Stage to the festival: “Some people ask me, “why don’t you have a classics area?”, well, that’s obvious for ASOT 1000,” the Trance legend to listeners.

Adding a stage dedicated to the golden era of Trance would be the perfect fit for ASOT 1000. Since 2001, A State Of Trance has produced of memorable episodes, records and festivals, becoming a major platform in the scene.

What started as an obsession for radio has turned into a weekly highlight for than 40 million listeners, broadcasting to over 100 FM stations and fans from over 84 countries.

Every 50th radio show of A State Of Trance is celebrated with several live events, uniting Trance music lovers across the globe and delivering monumental sets from some of the biggest acts in the world.

The live-streams of these milestone shows have millions of viewers and a lot of interactions. This all together makes A State of Trance the biggest trance community of the world!

ASOT 1000 is set for 2021, and although no event concepts have been announced just yet, there’s no doubt it will be a -blowing experience.

In the meantime, get ready for the ASOT 950 festivities, which is set to kick off on February 14, with the official pre-party in Amsterdam, by the main show at the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht on February 15, 2020.
