Curated by T. Records

All the , Bandcamp has been super supportive with artists on their platform, waiving their fees one Friday a month for almost one year now.

As a label owner, I know that self-distributing can be time-consuming, difficult and often means fighting with international mailing services. Yet, there’s nothing that makes me happier than to see people actually buying from us directly via Bandcamp and sometimes starting real relationships with our followers.

Thus, we decided to highlight a few releases from last year that really deserve you to make a stop on Bandcamp.

Key of Sea EP by ()

Our first pick is this brilliant EP released on Mike Who’s label, Planet Trip Records. For his 2nd release under the Gee Dee moniker, the Brooklyn producer showed a lot of maturity, delivering high-class tracks with dream house and Balearic influences. The two opening tracks do an amazing job to introduce us to Gee Dee’s world. Made from jungle noises and airy synths they are also great dancefloor weapons with their funky percs!

Black Jukebox 30 by (Exploited Rec)

I have not been caught by an Exploited release like this for a long time! Shir Khan made an incredible selector job by inviting Romain FX for this 30th edition of the Black Jukebox series. Romain, boss of Fauve Records and Fauve Radio in Hong Kong, gave birth to a great house 12” where he pleases listeners missing the good old days of packed clubs. The two most noticeable tracks on this great EP are A Fuego with it’s tributes to latin influences and balearic house, and Jungle George, an absolute banger ready to set fire to any dancing crowd with its massive acid line.

Emanticipacao by ()

For the release of our 2nd EP, we had the opportunity to play some records with Diogo, and we were already captivated by the tracks he was playing. With this first solo release (he used to be one half of the amazing brazilian band Balako), he shows that he’s not just an amazing selector but also an outstanding musician and producer.

The two tracks on the EP are expertly designed, with superb synths, smooth bass and perfect percs. This makes Emanticipacao a great piece of Brazilian dance and will certainly give a good measure of sunny tones to your sets !

Three of Us EP by , ()

Three of Us concludes our selection and is definitely a future dancefloor killer. This EP sees Mainz producer Tilman come together with Rhode & Brown for a collaborative project oscillating between house classics and electro influences.

All the tracks are dance anthems, my favourite by far is Paradise Space Center. Its title sums it all up; paradise synth waves and cosmic keys that will make you close your eyes and dream of outer space! A great treat for DJs having who are having trouble choosing between Italo and house.
