&lt:span&gt:Uberjak’d is at the forefront of the new wave of Australian club producers impacting the global electronic scene, with freshly signed deals across Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak, Ministry of Sound Australia and Laidback Luke’s Mixmash. In just the past few years Uberjak’d has played some of the most prestigious festivals and venues in the world including WMC, Pacha Ibiza, Pacha Sydney, Webster Hall New York, Stereosonic and many more. After making his Tomorrowland debut last year, Uberjak’d will soon be heading back to Europe to play the massive Tomorrowland festival once again.

Uberjak’d recently wrapped up another huge Miami Music Week, playing six parties including the Dim Mak Beach Party, Deorro’s PandaFunk party, the Steve Aoki &amp:amp: Friends party and fellow Aussie producer Will Sparks’ ‘Let’s Bounce’ party’. Uberjak’d is currently in the midst of his huge Uberjak’d &amp:amp: Mates Tour, presented by Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, that will see him play 43 shows across Australia, Asia, Canada Europe and the US over the next few months.

Having mixed Ministry of Sound’s flagship compilation The Annual 2014, Uber has been also been delivering the freshest tunes to his loyal followers via his monthly podcast – which regularly holds the #1 music podcast on iTunes Australia, with a monthly audience of 150,000 – keeping company on the chart above Tiesto, Hardwell, Triple J’s New Music Podcast, Armin Van Buuren and Above &amp:amp: Beyond. Testament to his quick rise to the top, Uber has stormed into the top ten in the inthemix awards (Australia’s largest DJ poll) and has been crowned the #1 DJ in South Australia four years in a row.

In the past 12 months Uberjak’d has released three EPs on Dim Mak and collaborated with Laidback Luke, Will Sparks and New World Sound. On top of this, Uberjak’d has been tapped to remix tracks for Example, Deorro, Fatboy Slim &amp:amp: Riva Starr, TJR &amp:amp: VINAI and New World Sound and has had releases on the cream of dance labels such as Dim Mak, Mixmash, Hussle, Hysteria, Island and Neon. Uberjak’d has seen his tracks played by EDM luminaries Steve Aoki, Hardwell, David Guetta, Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Deorro, MAKJ, Carnage, Nari &amp:amp: Milani, Borgore, Chuckie, Tristan Garner, Morgan Page and Will Sparks to name a few. Not that it fazes him. “Music shouldn’t be taken too seriously,” says Uber. “And if it is, then you’re seriously doing something wrong.”&lt:/span&gt:

&lt:span&gt:Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia – the prodigal son of Melbourne’s underground dance music scene has come to earn widespread praise and an impressive reputation for his work in the music industry as DJ and Producer alike.

With a discography of both underground and commercial hits, Joel Fletcher is no stranger to the airwaves – the multiplatinum-selling artist has managed to reach double platinum sales and for his collaboration with Will Sparks ‘Bring It Back’ and gold sales for his original production ‘Loco’, but he became a house-hold name for his ARIA nominated, 4xPlatinum smash-hit ‘Swing’ ft Savage that proved to be an inescapable track – added to every radio network in the country and coming in as one of the most played tracks on Australian commercial radio for that year.

From beginning to DJ at the age of 14, achieving his first club residency by the age of 16 to being voted #3 in the inthemix Australia Top 50 awards in 2014, the rise to the top for Joel Fletcher has occurred at lightening speed – with the home-grown talent now playing over 200+ shows around the globe each year, gracing the world’s most prestigious venues and biggest festivals is all in a day’s work for Joel Fletcher.

His impact can be felt in the productions of many of his peers including Will Sparks, TJR and Deorro, as well as in the sound of a huge selection of aspiring producers both within Australia and beyond. Fletcher has also attracted the ears of the dance music world with his originals and huge remixes – leading him to collaborate with and remix some of the world’s biggest acts – Deorro, 360, Halsey, Henry Fong, R3HAB and Vinai to name a few including a brand new chart topping collaboration “Acid Rain” with fellow Melbourne Bounce royal Will Sparks.

With regular tours across Europe, Australia, Asia and North America firmly under his belt [Including a 50-date, three month, US bus tour and multiple national festival tours for Stereosonic &amp:amp: Goodlife] and music that is played in almost every corner of the globe, it is safe to say Joel Fletcher is undoubtedly one of the most exciting talents in his genre, and the captivating and electrifying sound of Joel Fletcher is here to stay. &lt:/span&gt:

    • At first glance, Brisbane DJ DefWill appears to be going from strength to strength, balancing university studies, events management roles for festivals like Splendour in the Grass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Live Large, DJing some of the deepest techno rhythms at some of the primest techno parties on the east coast of Oz and also that he has never let the fact that he is deaf hold him back. Though if one takes the time to look (and talk) a little deeper it becomes clear that he, like many of us, carries burdens that are well beyond his control and the weight of which has been known to bring even the strongest of us down.

New OzClubbers writer Dastardly Kuts gets deep with DefWill.

    • From the DJ’s perspective; since Larry Levan’s early days at the Paradise Garage, the remix – or playing different versions of songs – was one of the first notable aspects of what we now know as DJ Culture. His ethic of refreshing successful dancefloor movers in the late seventies passed down generations of DJ has been long-established as almost a perfunctory task, almost a must-do to be undertaken by the disk jockey.

    • Here is a fresh new mix from us—and one that definitely gives us the warm and fuzzies!

So, our 'Attic' brand as a whole, the music we push—and, indeed, Andrew and I as individual DJs—is often centred around music on the lower, slower, deeper, warm-up tip. That is a label we've always worn with pride.
