CRAZY ARMS PRESENTS:
HUH (Japan) (OOOSOUND, Attenuation Circuit, WORD iS OUT!)
HUH is freeform-freakout / noise-improvisation duo formed in July 2007 in Tokyo by Kyosuke Terada (guitar/voice) & Takuma Mori (drums/voice). The project explores the melting points between groove and noise, junk, no wave, punk, free jazz and free-form improvisation. Their fierce and ephemeral shows move at lighting speed, often traversing a multitude of sounds in a matter of minutes.
They have various releases, both physical and digital, on a range of Japanese and international labels including their own independent label OOOSOUND, German label Attenuation Circuit, Chilean label Productora Mutante, and American label Grindocore Karaoke. The pair are stalwarts of the Tokyo noise scene, via their label as well as the myriad shows they host week after week at highly regarded underground venues such as Forest Limit and Ochiai Soup.
Since their inception, they have toured Europe in 2017, played at Taiwanese experimental music festival LSF in 2018, and have played all over Japan. This will be their first time in Australia.
