17 January @ 20:00 - 23:00 AEDT

Journey into the machine…

Target acquired! Dance floor charged and ready for action! Boogie field energised! Audio drive calibrated! Ready for deep dance action!

There is an upcoming gravitational slingshot detailed in your flight plans and it’s called FRIDAY NIGHT. It’s gonna get us where we’re going guys so don’t miss the rendezvous and be ready to get down. Engine coils are primed, the dance floor deck has had a full diagnostic and is ready to receive the intergalactic, dance crew for hyperspace travel! During our journey into the unknown passengers and crew have access to a stellar recreational deck featuring some of the solar systems best hydration specialists. They have studied the latest in bio-molecular refreshment technology and are eagerly awaiting your arrival.

Since releasing their debut EP, Lost Tapes for Calvin in 2017, Penelope Two-Five have piqued the attention of both critics and punters for their hazy, warehouse-ready sound. Dubbed one of Purple Sneakers’ “Artists to watch in 2018”, Penelope Two-Five have been championed by Triple J’s Tim Shiel who claimed the duo to be “one of his favourite discoveries of the year”, and by Andy Garvey who invited the pair to contribute to the esteemed Triple J Mix Up. Off the back of releases on Tape Leisure, Centre Source Records and The Space Between Us, Penelope Two-Five were added to the bill at Australia’s leading music festival and industry conference BIGSOUND. They have also given audiences an experience to remember at ARCADIA and Circus Paradise Arts and Music Festival on the , sell-out club shows in Brisbane, and at the Dance Flaws parties at Section 8 and supporting Seb Wildblood (UK) at Geddes Lane Ballroom in .

DJ Borderforce is stationed on the outer rim worlds and has been actively researching all there is to know regarding aural stimulus and frequency manipulation. We have received deep space transmissions confirming that he will make the rendezvous with us and that he will be bringing along with him some of the latest findings in his research and that it will blow our minds and move our feet!

Smells Like Nanna’s House Band is the up and coming tongue-in-cheek synthpop project that’s hotter than a sizzler buffet.
