Probably the only thing harder than getting into Berghain is finding footage of what happens inside.
Filming and taking photos is strictly forbidden inside the famous techno club (small stickers are actually placed over your phone cameras when you enter) and if you’re caught you will be swiftly ejected. Thanks to this policy — and to the punters who generally respect the rule — there are very few images of the goings on inside the club.
Read More A weekend at Berghain: Inside the world's most notorious club Which makes this recently unearthed archival footage from Techno History all the more interesting.
The 12-minute video from 2000 is an exceptionally rare glimpse into a night at the revered techno venue Ostgut, which was the club that proceeded and inspired Berghain and Panorama Bar. Ostgut operated from 1998 to 2003, and included the male-only fetish club Snax.
Amid the swirling bodies and smoke, you’ll spot cameos from notable selectors like Johannes Heil, The Advent, and Dave Angel. Watch it below.

Prohibition Fridays presents Nora En Pure
Free Entry! VIP Booths Available - http://bit.ly/2iyuSG6
$1 Pizza until 10pm, Complimentary Hair & Makeup!
Nora En Pure is the Swiss Deep House & Indie Dance music sensation that is rippling through the sonic sphere with her beautiful blend of electronic beats. Leading listeners out of the darker realms of deep house with intricate instrumentals and enlightening melodies, every track she gets her hands on turns to gold, and every performance she gives leaves the audience in awe.
Moving far away from her home at an early age to Zürich, Switzerland, Daniela found herself longing to touch base with her South African roots. Growing up listening to classical music and playing the flute and piano, she began creating her own electronic music, aiming to radiate positivity and exotic vibes through her emotive productions. 2009 saw the beginnings of her musical career, releasing her debut tracks via the Enormous Tunes and Tonkenish imprints. Her breakthrough track ‘Come With Me’ catapulted her into the spotlight in 2013. Sparking wide interest in her sound, the track received extensive support from the biggest tastemakers in the game and captivated a large and ever-growing legion of loyal fans. Collaborating with the likes of Wretch 32, The Aston Shuffle, Adrian Lux and Klingande, Nora infiltrated herself further and further into the depths of the dance music scene.
Gracing the decks of some of the most coveted dance music spots on the planet over the years, Nora has played sets at the likes of Ultra Music Festival Miami, Mysteryland USA, Webster Hall NYC and Privilege Ibiza. Her remarkable release schedule introduced an array of fan favorites, including her ‘Saltwater (2015 Rework)’, her Hype Machine #1 edit of Australian production trio RÜFÜS’ ‘You Were Right’ and her bouncy rendition of Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank’s ‘Shades Of Grey’. Her two-track ‘Morning Dew’ EP featured the hauntingly beautiful title track, which was selected as Pete Tong’s first Essential New Tune of the year in his BBC Radio 1 show.
Meeting many milestones in her career in 2016, Daniela delivered her breathtaking BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, toured relentlessly to bring her scintillating sound to as many countries as humanly possible, and completed her first Ibiza residency at the world’s largest club, Privilege Ibiza. Releasing some of her most personal works, including the delicate ‘Lake Arrowhead’, which was the 6th most Shazam’d track in Ibiza in July 2016, and her summer re- make of Chris Rea’s 1986 classic ‘On The Beach’, every release proves why she is one of dance music’s most in-demand producers.
Releasing her diverse 4-track ‘Conquer Yosemite’ EP, a remix with EDX of Brazilian Superstar DJ Alok’s ‘Hear Me Now’ and her stunning original ‘Tears In Your Eyes’, Nora En Pure has already delivered an array of gems this year. Winning crowds over at Coachella in April, and being selected as one of Tomorrowland’s Daybreak Artists, this indomitable artist has well and truly made 2017 her own.

Prohibition Friday presents Minx (Syd)
Free Entry, No Lockout, $1 Pizza Until 10pm, Complimentary Hair & Makeup! Book your VIP booth today - http://bit.ly/2iyuSG6
The Darling of Australia’s club scene, Minx, has returned with her new House single ‘What Lovers Do’. This follows previous House anthems 'All Because Of You' & 'Hold On' – a dark & moody timeless gem.
Known for her usual hands in the air, feel good tracks & that is exactly what Minx has delivered. A more uplifting direction from 'Hold On', that still demands you have them up there, but manages to tug on your heart strings too.
At the centre of 'Hold On' are hypnotic vocals of Triple J unearthed singer/songwriter Hannah Joy, which recall the heady highs of Florence Welch and London Grammar.
This time around we have local beauty, Pearl on vocal duties, with another stellar performance following her vocals on Minx's last single 'All Because Of You'
Co-produced with Chris Arnott (Heaven & Hold On), 'What Lovers Do' takes these soft & floaty vocals and jumps straight into a happy & playful piano groove, putting this track on repeat. Did someone say new favourite?
The trio have formed such a tight chemistry, that in between making their own music they work on follow up tracks.
The package includes three incredible remixes from local stars Kormak, Andy Murphy & Mark Olsen.
Minx has travelled the world DJ’ing with the likes of Madeon, Diplo, Deadmau5, Erick Morillo & Tiesto. She has also spun at the Grammy Awards after-party in LA and Brit Awards in London playing tunes to the likes of Coldplay & The Gorillaz.
Over the past year, Minx has played to audiences in Australia’s biggest clubs including Pacha, Marquee, Electric Circus, Platinum and Stereosonic Festival every year since its launch." Purchase Tickets: Facebook URL: https://www.facebook.com/events/294502631031132/
