Above & Beyond Is All We Need

The anomaly in the EDM scene that is Above & Beyond are at it again! Coming back to Los Angeles with yet another smashing event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The room was filled with love and excitement before the show even began; the crowd eagerly awaiting Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki (members of Above and Beyond). However, the heavy hitting openers had to perform first, and the crowd was forced to wait.

The night began with the calm and heavy hitters from Spencer Brown, setting a fantastic vibe for Grum.
Graeme Shepherd is an artist who has been working on his craft as a DJ and producer since his debut in 2010 with his debut album as Grum, entitled Heartbeats. Since then, we’ve seen his music evolve as his passion amplifies with each song he drops. After Shepard, came another duo who truly did live up to their hype.

The name Gabriel & Dresden should be familiar with many trance fans. Their rise to fame in the early 2000’s came from their intricate progressive trance productions. Melody, groove, song structure, and powerful lyrics were the driving elements for their success. Their remix of Above & Beyond’s “No One On Earth” has proved to be a trance great. However, over the years, the group decided to split up and focus on their solo careers. This resulted in a less trance feel during their live shows which has made them more versatile and unique.

With such a stacked lineup the Anjunabeats Family enjoyed a long and beautiful night. But still, they were gifted a mesmerizing 3 hour set from Above and Beyond. The trio have such a unique fanbase ranging from all ages that sets a captivating vibe, making the viewers not only comfortable to be themselves but become more comfortable with people around them. Above and Beyond are like a drug that helps you understand the deeper meaning of being at an event by sharing beautiful moments with complete strangers. Dropping bangers from their vast collection of songs, the crowd noticeably erupted every time a track from We Are All We Need was played.

The trio continues to establish themselves as greats in the industry. With a fan base that seems to resonate so deeply with their music, it only makes sense that they continue to grow and spread their love.

With yet another spectacular event from the Above & Beyond trio, the fans in LA are eagerly awaiting their return. Until next time Above and Beyond. You have made yours fans very happy.

    – peace and love
