When Armin van Buuren hit the Psy-Trance scene with the blistering ‘Great Spirit’ (with Vini Vici), many felt it would only be a matter of time before the five-time #1 DJ in the world would subject the global dance music movement to a record of similar magnitude and style. That moment has officially arrived today. Released on Armada Music, ‘Blah Blah Blah’ proves a telling precursor of what’s to come from Armin van Buuren’s forthcoming ‘Blah Blah Blah EP’, which is available for pre-order now and includes ‘The Last Dancer’, ‘Just As You Are’ (as Rising Star) and ‘Popcorn’.

      Listen here

From the foreboding intro with the iconic lyrics to the devastating kick-bass combo, ‘Blah Blah Blah’ has been staking its claim as a main stage staple since its premiere at Ultra Music Festival 2018 in Miami. A buster of speakers and inducer of carnage, this track has fans going wild from Miami to Amsterdam to Sydney and back.

When asked about the inspiration for his second, devastatingly powerful Psy-Trance tune, Armin van Buuren said: “Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah ‘Blah Blah Blah’ Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah ‘Blah Blah Blah’ Blah Blah Blah Blah.”

NYC’s subway buskers turned Beyonce collaborators Too Many Zooz and UK producer KDA have called upon the production talents of Armand Van Helden for a club-primed rework of Warriors. The original, featuring UK #1 producer KDA, has been played 45 times by Radio 1, was Annie Mac’s Hottest Record In The World, featured as the official track for London Pride, and has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify. With a fresh new remix on the cards courtesy of Armand Van Helden, Warriors is poised to be elevated to new heights over the coming months.

Too Many Zooz started off life as buskers on NYC’s long and winding subway system. Fast-forward just a few years and the brass-house trio have reached heights they never thought possible: from guesting on Beyonce’s Lemonade to selling out shows in the blink of an eye across Europe and the US. Composed of dancing sax wizard, Leo P, the ferocious percussionist King of Sludge and nimble-fingered trumpeter Matt Doe, Too Many Zooz are getting bigger and bigger. Hard on the heels of playing Good Morning Britain last month, there’s seemingly no end to the NYC trio’s meteoric success.

KDA is a South London boy who has an equally impressive command of the commercial realm as he does the underground. He’s the name behind the UK#1, Platinum certified single Turn the Music Louder featuring Katy B and Tinie Tempah, as well as Just Say with Tinashe and the socially conscious new underground dance single Hate Me. His first-hand experience of London’s underground club culture has cemented KDA as a highly regarded dance music authority. His DJ support is an endless list of equally varied tastemakers including the likes of Jackmaster, Seth Troxler, Black Madonna and Jamie Jones.

With over 20 years’ experience as one of the world’s most in demand DJs, Armand Van Helden is a name that needs little introduction. The Boston-born dance music authority has dominated the charts with singles ‘Witch Doktor’ in 1997, ‘You Don’t Know Me’ back in 1999, and ‘My My My’ in 2005. He’s released countless club tracks, old and new, that continue to leave their unmistakable mark on the dance music world. Whether he’s DJing the world’s biggest dance spaces or hard at work in his natural habitat, the studio, Armand Van Helden’s talent and reputation is unparalleled.

“Armand has such a creative way of bringing new shapes and colors out of a song, and he did this brilliantly on the Warrior’s remix. It reminds us of those old UK dance records that we love, with that familiar charming energy of the kick and hats mixed with resonant filter sweeps on the trumpets and saxes. Two words: BIG CHUNE!!!!!!!” - MATT

Armand Van Helden’s dance-floor ready remix of Warriors demonstrates all the hallmarks of a club classic. Replete with gargantuan 909 four to the floor beats and deep, billowing basses that underpin Too Many Zooz’ and KDA’s unmistakable ‘brass-house’ sound, the Boston dance music aficionado has provided a heady remix worthy to be played in the world’s most esteemed club spaces.

Too Many Zooz VS KDA – Warriors (Armand Van Helden Remix)  is out on 17th August 2018 via Ministry Of Sound.
