Bonnie X Clyde Drop Meaningful “Torn” Music Video

    Ozclubbers Staff

Daniel Litman and Paige Lopynski, also known as Bonnie X Clyde, are rapidly taking the world of electronic music by a storm with their love-filled vocals and bass, nicknamed “vocal bass.”

The duo have mastered the art of creating music that is emotionally riveting and perfect for the dance floor. After their debut hit, “The Ride,” hit the dance music radar, they followed up with their viral hit “Rise Above,” which caught the attention of Insomniac Records, with whom they signed a licensing deal.

However, their most successful track to date, “Bass Jam,” landed at the top of Sirius XM BPM charts as the No. 1 “Best of The Week” for five weeks straight. Now, the Virginia-native duo are on a roll with a meaningful new music video for “Torn,” which provides a voice to the repressed aspect of humanity.

With Paige’s vocals and the signature harmonious bass and future-esque synths, “Torn,” which was also produced in collaboration with DJ duo Purge, reveals some vulnerable emotions that are often hidden by layers of defense, giving those who are afraid to express themselves something to relate to. The music video depicts the variety of emotions and vulnerability with Paige running barefoot through a forest, burning pages in a book and laying in a bathtub full of water, rose pedals and candles.

“We all deal with the feeling of being torn in some way or another,” said Bonnie X Clyde of the track. “’Torn’ is about expressing your true, raw feelings and coming to terms with them…and understanding it’s ok to need help and to not be ok all the time.”
