deadmau5 seems to constantly be working on new music and evolving his sound, and apparently he already has a timeline for his next album!

Despite a big year of touring on his Lots Of Shows In A Row, the head honcho of mau5trap has found time to sneak in new music here and there (i.e. “Legendary,” “Midas’s Heel,” “Bad At Titles,” and “Polaris“) and plenty of teasers (like this, this and this). The producer has been in studio grinding — experimenting like never before.

Soon, we’ll get to hear everything he’s been working on and more. He just shared on Twitter his plans to wind down after his Australian tour by writing all winter long.

“Going to chill inside and write / produce an album which hopefully should be for spring,” deadmau5 explained.

If you want to hear the producer’s latest unreleased tune, check out the incredible track he dropped at Red Rocks here!

When ‘Lord of the Mics’ Jammer, was recently pushed over on stage, in a shock incident at Wiley’s long-standing event ‘Eskimo Dance,’ claims quickly started to arise that it was none other than Premiership football legend Ian Wright who was the culprit.  The claims lead to a social media frenzy with speculation as to why Ian Wright would have been so angered by Jammer and why he was even in attendance at a grime event in the first place.  With confused fans of both parties calling for answers to the many questions that were on everyone’s lips, Ian Wright took to his own Instagram to respond to the whole situation.  The incident then snowballed and the entire scenario made national news.  Setting off a wave of hilarious memes (that included Jammer moonwalking) the story was trending across social media over several days.  Read here: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/767371/ian-wright-jammer-video-grime-mc-england-push-twitter-eskimo-dance-printworks.

This event lead Jammer straight into the studio and the result is a track called, yes, you guessed it: 'Ian Wright’ and by the looks of things, Ian fully approves: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bvl10k7lYG0.  In fact, Ian is fully embracing it and is also rumoured to appear in the video, which launches today, alongside a number of celebrity guest cameos from the football and music world.

Although born from a negative incident that would be pretty difficult for any artist to recover from, Jammer has been quick to show that there is no place for any bad vibes and has flipped the situation in to a pretty epic outcome that only he could do.  Naturally pulling in one of the world’s biggest Football legends and also a production courtesy of huge Australian producer: ‘What So Not,’ (who has previously worked with Flume, RL Grime, Dillon Francis and Skrillex), ‘Ian Wright’ is born as an electronic grime masterpiece doused in wonky baseline and topped with Jammer’s lyrical skill and wit.

Known for his humour and creative genius to his hundreds of thousands of followers, Jammer is one of the foundational lynchpins of the grime scene.  Part of ‘Boy Better Know’ alongside Skepta and also director of seminal brand Lord of the Mics, Jammer gets it in the back of the net as 'Ian Wright' scores with football and music fans, plus anyone that enjoys a bit of top entertainment!

Mathieu Koss is the French producer that’s collaborated with singer, song writer and rapper Aloe Blacc on a care free party anthem that’s jam-packed with musical positivity. Never Growing Up is a single that rejoices in the ability to connect with your inner silliness. The new video embraces these elements and depicts an imaginative version of what it’s like to be young. The narrative follows an abundance of children who take pleasure in disrupting the mundane pattern of the 9-5, all whilst Aloe Blacc and Mathieu Koss encourage the innocent injection of mayhem.

Since 2015, Mathieu Koss has delivered an array of persistent pop house tracks that are shamelessly tinged with the guilt-free atmosphere of summer. He saw his career sky rocketed after the release of Angus and Julia Stones’ folk flip, Big Jet Plane, alongside fellow dance enthusiast Alok. He continued to over flow musically with successes such as Best Is Yet to Come, Rebel Yell and Campfire. These releases saw huge DJ support from mammoth influencers like Sam Feldt, Robin Schulz, Lost Frequencies and Martin Garrix.

Echoing Mathieu’s inspiring message of unity, Aloe Blacc always ensures an inspirational vocal that nods towards his jazz and soul roots. In 2013, Aloe Blacc received deserved recognition as a song writer after co-writing Avicii’s mega hit Wake Me Up, which shot to #1 in over 100 countries. Shortly following, Blacc released chart topping single The Man, followed by his Interscope debut album, Lift Your Spirit. The album went on to receiving a Grammy nomination for best R&B Album. Lift Your Spirit presented Aloe for the first time as a versatile artist that thrived through the medium of pop, soul, funk and R&B. Since then, Aloe Blacc has embraced more dance music realms by featuring on the Tiesto dance mix of Carry You Home and co-writing by Blacc and Stargate.

Making the world their playground, the Never Growing Up video, follows a mischievous day in the life of children. The story sees the little actors planning their rebellion, and interrupting scenes of every day routine. Unwilling adults are depicted by carrying on their heavy work load, perfectly juxtaposed with the tracks invigorating pop-tinged melodies and Aloe’s earnest vocal performance. Eventually the adults join Mathieu Koss and give in to the playful nature of the song. They display an energising release in the form of complete chaos by throwing themselves into the important underlying message of the song, to never grow up.

Following the single release of Amateurs, Sleepy Tom gets set to release the Amateurs EP. To celebrate his awaited body of work, a retro style video game has launched alongside fellow EP collaborator Lights, treating fans to a unique and immersive musical experience.

Leaving his familiar dance surroundings, the Amateurs EP sees Sleepy Tom experiment and delve into sophisticated pop territories. With his talented co-artists Lights, Sophia Black, Parker Bossley, Steve Bays and Blonde Diamond allowing for a more musical and collaborative effort, Sleepy Tom finds new levels of inspiration whilst weaving in synth lead melodies influenced by the electronic music that initially propelled him into the spotlight. Having fine-tuned the EP to perfection, Sleepy Tom explains:

“There’s so much cross-pollination going on in music right now, and I think that’s where the excitement is. I want to explore pop song structures, more real instruments, more hooks to create a more accessible and intimate experience for people listening” Meanwhile, the accompanying video game draws on that intimate experience Sleepy Tom speaks so fondly of, producing an arcade skating game around lead EP track Amateurs, set to resonate with fans beyond the music as he and Lights aim to achieve a high score fighting various bosses.

Having released music on influential labels like Fools Gold and Mad Decent, whilst working with the likes of Zeds Dead, Porter Robinson, and Martin Solveig for official remixes (his remix of Intoxicated surpassed an impressive 7 million streams) Sleepy Tom’s rise has been hard to ignore. His originals have dominated charts including hit single Be Right There alongside powerhouse producer Diplo reaching no.2 overall in the UK. Now sitting firmly in his own lane, Sleepy Tom is no longer following anyone’s else’s rulebook, only the one he’s writing for himself and this chapter is seriously compelling.

Since breaking out in 2015, Odd Mob has had a musical evolution like no other. The moniker of Brisbane producer Harry Hope, the project has grown and developed into one of the most respective electronic acts, not only amongst fans, but also amongst his peers. Announcing today the release of his long awaited debut album, Odd Mob releases the very first instalment with the genre bending single ‘All Of Your Heart’. Mesmerising in both charisma and production, the single is a testament to Harry’s creative vision, and his continued ability to create dynamic productions whilst forging his own path stylistically.

Meshing dreamy pop vocals of the talented Jordan Leser, together with a nuanced bassline, ‘All Of Your Heart’ is a clear standout from Harry’s previous works. Giving insight on how the track came together, Harry explains “‘All Of Your Heart’ started as quite a melancholic tune, but then I had the idea to simply pitch them up six semitones. What resulted was a burst of pop-euphoria. I instantly decided to change the chords and the basis of the tune was formed.”

Co-written by Alexander Burnett (the famed songwriter/producer known for collaborations with major artists including DJ Snake, Hayden James, Flight Facilities, Elderbrook and more), it comes as no surprise, that the lyrics and messaging behind the song are just as intoxicating as the production. Describing his own take on the lyrics, Harry further explains, “The part of the verse got stuck in my head  was "give me all your heart". I really think many people these days are quite reluctant to give somebody their everything. Social media gives us so many false options. Loving somebody with everything you have is the most rewarding experience you can have.”

Whilst it was the hit single ‘Is It A Banger?’ that catapulted Odd Mob into the mainstream and triple j’s Hottest 100, Harry has always produced a wide range of electronic music. With a string of original works including; ‘Down For Love’ which had huge triple j support, ‘Into You feat. Starley’ becoming a 2017 club anthem holding the #1 position on the ARIA club chart for seven straight weeks, and ‘Intrinsic’ which bookmarked a turning point in production for Odd Mob with support pouring in from all corners of the globe from the likes of Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Don Diablo and JAUZ to name a few. Never downplaying his club roots, Harry has continued to develop various singles, an EP, and an entire ‘Oddities’ brand to experiment with various elements of his highly skilled production. A shining example of his club work, was the release of the electro house thumper ‘Gassed Up’, quickly catching the attention of DJ Snake and Jauz, transforming the tune into a festival anthem the world over. And with further remixes for the likes of A-Trak, Motez, Starley, POOLCLVB,  and Lorde, it is clear that he is at the top of his game.

Taking on his first headline tour of Australia in 2018, Harry played a string of intimate venues across the country to explore and develop songs for his forthcoming debut album, with the tour aptly titled ‘Testing Grounds’. Having been recently signed to APA (alongside of roster of 50 Cent, Tyga, Azealia Banks) Odd Mob is ready to take his music global, with his first run of dates in North America to be announced later this year.

‘All Of Your Heart’ is out now on Tinted Records, in conjunction with Spinnin, Parlophone/FFRR and Kontor Records.
