W&W are all about epic collaborations lately, and we’re all about — well, listening to them.

The most recent came in the form of W&W x Vini Vici‘s “Chakra,” an instant classic that matches big room sounds with tripped out, underground vibes. The music video is an absolute must watch by the way, if you haven’t seen it yet.

Now, the duo has announced its plans to unleash another collaboration coming soon with none other than Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. It’s an ID fans have been anticipating for a while now, but it’s always exciting when a big song gets an official release.

Listen to a version of “Crowd Control” below and check back to hear the official version October 20.

Researchers at the University of Alabama recently published a study that seems to indicate taking psychedelic drugs such as LSD and mushrooms lowers the chance of the user committing a violent crime.
Published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, individuals who had consumed psychedelics were found to be 12% less likely to commit assault, 18% less likely to be arrested for a violent crime, and 27% less likely to commit a theft than those who had not taken the drugs — numbers the study contends are “reliable” enough to establish positive effects for those who indulge.
From 2002–2014, 480,000 individuals were surveyed for the study. The study additionally found that, for lifetime users of hallucinogens, 47–68% were more likely to sell drugs and describe those activities as beneficial to their clients for the substances medicinal and therapeutic qualities.
The research also indicates that drug users who partake in cocaine and ecstasy are more likely to commit crimes than others.

Fabric is celebrating its 18-year anniversary this weekend, but this time around the London-based nightclub is giving rather than receiving.
After the venue’s closure in September, Fabric fans made a collective effort to reboot the club, raising money to support Fabric’s then potential re-opening. Fabric owners would eventually strike a deal with Islington Council and police officials to reinstate the club, allowing Fabric to open its doors once more several months thereafter.
The efforts of those that rallied for Fabric’s re-opening generated more than £330,000 ($388,919 USD). Left with £68,000 ($80,000+) of leftover fundraising cash, Fabric has donated the remaining funds to a variety of charities including The Loop, NTIA, Music Venue Trust, Centrepoint Midi Music Company, Make-a-Wish UK, Nordoff Robbins, and YUAF. The nightclub has erected a donor board in Room 2 of the club that displays the names of each person that contributed to the original fundraiser to benefit Fabric, an authentic addition to the nightclub’s sleek design.

As more than 2,000 delegates begin to arrive in Beijing for China’s Communist Party Congress, country officials have called for the temporary closure of the nightclubs located in the capital as part of an effort to heighten security for the event. The meeting takes place every five years — it officially began on Wednesday, October 18 —and will extend into next week.
All Beijing based nightclubs have consequently been instructed to remain closed until the congress concldes. The abrupt shutdown has forced many Beijing promoters and nightlife entities to cancel anticipated events.

Nightclubs however are not the sole spaces being targeted for closure by officials. Airbnb rentals and restaurants, gyms, and karaoke bars are also being required to temporarily halt activity, the effort part of a larger initiative to “reduce the flow of outsiders to the capital.” While Beijing residents might find their weekend somewhat uneventful as a result, the closure will remain brief.
