DJ Koze strips back on new Gorillaz remix

    Ozclubbers Staff

DJ Koze is one of those artists that can take a song and transform it in a way that feels comfortable while being a separate entity to its original and his remix of Gorillaz track Humility is no exception.

The stems are used in a way that completely peels back the vocals and puts an emphasis on the underlying melodies and simple yet effective four fours.

DJ Koze has been on fire lately and if you’re in Melbourne you can catch him operating alongside Charlotte De WitteGerd Janson and more at B3, which is shaping up to be huge.

Check out Koze’s remix below and tell us what you think, is it better than the original?
