Copenhagen-based producer and multi-talent Fabian Mazur has caused an uproar amongst the bass music scene with originals like “Make It Bounce” and remixes that continue to catch the ears of many. Since he started taking over the scene in 2010, Mazur has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Afrojack. The producer’s latest masterpiece on Elysian Records is dubbed “The Groove” and certainly makes you want to dance.
Mazur takes a very dark approach to “The Groove.” The track heavily utilizes gritty basses and an uneasy atmosphere. Mazur takes no time at all to get the track moving into the relentless drop with a heavily plucked bass, deep percussion, and groovy vocal chops. The piece remains interesting throughout by activating a myriad of unique and luscious sound effects. Fabian Mazur definitely knows to establish the groove.
