Golden Features has inked a big deal, so let’s cop some music!

Sydney singer-songwriter Golden Features is shooting for some big leagues right now, nabbing a contract with BMG for a worldwide publishing deal. Hopefully we get to expose the whole world to our beloved local legend.

Joining a roster with Peking Duk and SAFIA, this is going to open a world of opportunities for the guy, and we can not be more excited. BMG’s A&R Manager for Australia Amy Jarman seems over the moon at this signing, saying Tom’s versatility as a writer/producer will be thoroughly exercised within BMG, giving him access to the company’s global creative network, exclusive SoundLabs, international collaborations and opportunities that only come with being a BMG songwriter. Managing Director Heath Johns states “When we heard the new Golden Features music we couldn’t contain our enthusiasm. There has been a huge development in Tom’s songcraft and production, and BMG is confident that we are absolutely the right partner to take these tunes to a wider global audience”.

He’s been killing it on the Itunes charts, with his latest EP, 2015’s XXIV reaching #1 and getting a place on the hottest 100 that year. Golden Features has also succeeded on a sold-out Australian tour, played American festivals HARD Summer, CRSSD and Holy Ship, and toured with the one and only Alison Wonderland.

Any aspiring musicians from Sydney, here’s a new role model for you! Cop some vintage GF below.
