Hurley Mower – “Metronome” (feat. Manasseh)

    Ozclubbers.com.au

Burgeoning artists Hurley Mower and Manasseh take to Lowly Palace for a vibey and lust-filled new release full of tantalizing electronic and R&B elements.

From start to finish, “Metronome” crafts a truly unique sonic experience–Manasseh’s vocals take hold of an introductory Mr. Carmack-like bounce that captivates listeners before an outstanding beat showcases them with style and ease. A sultry bedroom beat that’s silky smooth, this track is sure to stand the test of time. It’s a unique, soulful, and timeless rendition that we’ll have on repeat for weeks to come.

“Manasseh and I just had fun with this song. Its nature embodies the mood we had during the couple of sessions where it was created. Whether it’s the giggles, or the dialogue in the middle of the song, or the unconventional form with the tempo change, the idea was to not take ourselves too seriously. We let everything happen naturally, which resulted in a song that enters an unchartered territory.” – Hurley Mower

With a slew of new originals on the pipeline, 2018 is poised to be Chicago-based producer Hurley Mower’s year to ascend to the forefront of the indie electronic scene. Check out “Metronome” below and stream it here.
