It’s finally comes, ladies and gentlemen. After their return at Qlimax last year, many rumours went out if Project One would come up with new music. After a while, this was somehow confirmed, but now we could say that the defenitive word is out.
Yesterday Headhunterz and Wildstylez both made a mysterious announcement. So, we better all prepare for a few brand new tracks of the couple. Now that Headhunterz has officially returned to hardstyle and Wildstylez is still producing in his studio, the gents have also decided to continue their act as Project One ‘. After the return at Qlimax 2016 and some gigs in foreign countries, it seems to be a matter of time before we will hear something of these two.
Headhunterz & Wildstylez tease their new Project One EP
What has been revealed yet, is that also Q-dance is involved according to the orange logo in the top left corner. Besides, the title in the artwork ‘Project One EP 1’ brings us some questions. Would this be just the beginning of a new series of EPs?

While Diplo and Skrillex’s alias Jack Ü remains on an indefinite pause, that doesn’t mean that the two haven’t been collaborating behind the scenes. The ASCAP registration for Diplo’s recent MØ feature, “Get It Right,” credits Sonny Moore (Skrillex) as one of the song’s writers.
The The ASCAP file doesn’t exactly signal the impending return of Jack Ü, but does indicate that dance music’s electronic power couple might be more inclined to take up more projects in the future.

London based fans of Aphex Twin can now compete to win Warp Records‘ final copy of the limited-edition cassette, Aphex Mt. Fuji 2017. Originally released in a small quantity of only 500 copies, the tape, comprised of 45 experimental tracks, was sold at Japan’s Fuji Rock festival in July. The tape has since exploded in popularity, its rarity garnering hundreds of dollars for those selling the tape online.
Those interested in the contest can enter to win simply by purchasing a record from the shop tomorrow at London’s Independent Label Market at Spitalfields Market. In addition to Aphex Mt. Fuji 2017, the winner of Warp’s contest will also take home white label copies of Mount Kimbie‘s Love What Survives and Kelela’s Take Me Apart.

Another headlining act has pulled out of boutique festival earthcore, only a day after they lost two artists over alleged payment disputes with the promoter.
Los Angeles DJ Dirty Audio — who was locked in as a headliner at earthcore’s events in NSW, Queensland, and WA — contacted inthemix via Twitter this morning to say he will no longer be appearing at the festival:

inthemix has contacted Audio and his managers for further information.
As we reported yesterday, two of the festival’s headliners — Coming Soon and Phaxe — announced they would no longer be performing at the festival, citing payment disputes with the promoter.
“The reason for the cancellation is because the owner of this festival didn’t pay us until now, and didn’t even book a flight,” Coming Soon wrote on Facebook. “[This is] after many threats of cancelling us if we will not be patient.”
Danish artist Phaxe also dropped the news via Facebook, writing: “We are sorry to announce, that Phaxe…has to cancel the Australia tour for Earthcore, as the organizer did not fulfill the terms of our agreement.”
Earthcore is due to take place between November 23 and 27 in Elmore, Victoria, with additional events taking place in NSW, Queensland, and QA; inthemix has again contacted earthcore founder Spiro Boursine for comment.
