Justin Jay Releases Second Full Length Album ‘Home’

    Guest

The first album from Justin Jay was a massive success. Because of this, there was a lot of pressure for Jay to perform well on all of his releases. Under this immense pressure, Jay disconnected to find himself and retreat into his own mind. It was during this period of introspection that Jay was able to sit and write his album Home.

The songs within Home are very personal and emotive with a raw sentiment in them. The album shares his vulnerability and showcases his prolific talent as a produce. All the tracks in the album offer their own taste into Jay’s mind and his feelings. There are collaborative efforts on the album as well with artists like Josh Taylor and Fantastic Voyage. There is something that can pique everyone’s interest, so check out the full album below:

Emerging on the dance circuit in 2013, Sleepy Tom rose to prominence with anthems on the likes of Fools Gold and Mad Decent. Having broken the crowded EDM scene, Sleepy Tom sets to dip into the pool of pop. With a fresh new sound, he releases Move feat. Sophia Black from his forthcoming EP The Times.

With dynamic riff breakdowns and vibrant melodies, Move displays Sleepy Tom’s flourishing sound journey. Demonstrating versatility as a producer, instrumentals crossover to funk and jazz realms propelling the single to heights that rise above regular pop releases, whilst its energy still cements Move as a dance friendly tune. No longer restricted to one genre, Sleepy Tom explains:

“I started to feel confined to making strictly dance music,” the artist admits. “I wanted to explore pop song structures, more real instruments, more hooks – basically, to create a more accessible and intimate experience for people listening.”

Since his prolific rise, Cam aka Sleepy Tom has lent his production skills to the likes of Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson for official remixes with his remix of Martin Solveig‘s Intoxicated surpassing an impressive 7 million streams. Also producing incredible originals, he cracked the charts world-wide with hit single Be Right There alongside powerhouse producer Diplo. Now exploring new avenues, Sleepy Tom’s forthcoming The Times EP focuses on a more musical and collaborative effort that finds new levels of influences and inspiration, whilst still giving a nod to the hook-laden dance landscape that catapulted Sleepy Tom into the international spotlight. Although his achievements and accolades he’s amassed in recent years are ones to be admired, Sleepy Tom is no longer following anyone’s else’s rulebook, only the one he’s writing for himself and his first chapter is seriously compelling.

Tee'd up with Miami dubstep lord Jupe to make an epic dance/trap infusion with the addition of vocals from Aussie artist Savoi Coming off the back of a huge set at Splendour In The Grass 2017, Enschway will be playing Australia's national Listen Out Festival this September, arguably one of Austalia's biggest  He will also be taking the EP on a solo tour throughout July, hitting all capital cities in Aus plus a special show for NZ fans in Auckland  EP also includes Australian club aficionado Perto and Aussie young-gun Leotrix
Sydney-based Nic Schweighoffer aka Enschway, has once again teamed up with his mates throughout the global dance community to create the third EP in his infamous series of Friendschway EPs. On board for the third installment is Miami producer Jupe, Aussie artist Perto and the up and coming DJ, Leotrix, coming together to create an insanely eclectic three track EP ranging from EDM festival-ready drops to heaving club bangers.
On the lead single off the EP, Nic employs Miami producer Jupe and Australian singer/songwriter Savoi to construct ‘Make It Work’ an epic dance and trap infusion that would fit perfectly into any EDM headliners festival set. Aussie club aficionado Perto lends his production finesse on ‘Lose It’, a definite crowd favourite in all of Enschway’s recent shows, and newcomer Leotrix blends his fresh ears with Nic’s expertise for ‘Can’t Stay Here’ creating an insanely dark and intricate mix.

On the collaborations, Nic explained, “For Friendschway 3 I wanted to keep it short and sweet. Two super heavy disgusting tracks and one calmer more emotional song. The EP has been in the works for so long I’m just so happy it’s finally so close to release. I think Lose It w/ Perto has been finished for almost 2 years and has been the most anticipated release of ours. I’ve spent the last few months really trying to hone in on bettering the quality in the production so I’m hoping it shines through with this latest release. Hope everyone enjoys it. ”

After his absolutely huge set at 2017’s Splendour In The Grass and sold out headline show at Oxford Art Factory, Enschway has been hand-picked as one of the few locals announced for Australia’s nationalListen Out Festival this September. He will also be taking Friendschway Vol. 3 on a solo tour throughout July, hitting all capital cities in Australia including Sydney’s Metro Theatre, plus a special show for New Zealand fans in Auckland. With his previous EPs receiving over 4 million collective streams online plus a run of reviews from YourEDM, Run The Trap, inthemix, EDM Tunes, it’s not doubt that Friendschway Vol. 3 will push Nic further onto the global scale, where he has already roused interest from top guns,Diplo, RL Grime and What So Not.
