With his debut release on UZ’s Quality Goods Records, 20-year-old producer Krischvn sets an incredibly high bar for himself. With only two years of experience under his belt, Krischvn is still a relative novice but his five track EP, titled Plumbum, shows hallmarks and production skills way beyond his young years.
Kicking off proceedings is “One,” a bullish vocal cut signaling the EP’s arrival. Krischvn deftly avoids falling into the usual trap standards – there aren’t so many big over the top drops and wailing sounds on this EP. A more minimal approach is taken on tracks “Squanch” and “Voibe,” but don’t think these tracks still don’t bang, though. There is a seriously interesting collection of tracks on here.
Plumbum is out now and you can check it out here.
