KUURO‘s hard-hitting sound has sent a shockwave throughout the bass music scene. Their debut track on the prolific Monstercat label has been dubbed as one of the biggest debuts in the label’s history. They continue to send relentless bass through tracks like “Knockin’,” “Omen,” and now “1000 Cuts” with Clockvice.
The quickly rising bass duo have been one of my favorite acts in the scene since I first covered their track “Possession.” “1000 Cuts” is certainly no less explosive than their previous tracks. In fact, it features their signature sound with unfathomable bass, ear-scratching synths, and unbelievable rhythm that switches up multiple times throughout the track’s duration. “1000 Cuts” most definitely highlights their cutting-edge production skills.
