Maceo Plex announces EP series dubbed ‘techno mutations’

    Ozclubbers.com.au

It’s been a hot minute since American born producer Maceo Plex has released any new material…but get set for three EP’s with new tracks labelled ‘techno mutations’ in 2018. The outrageously talented dance music don shall release the ‘Mutant Series’ from May 18th via the Correspondent imprint, owned by fellow DJ Jennifer Cardini.

It’s a family affair for Maceo, (real name Eric Estornel), who features vocals from his wife, Maars, throughout ‘Mutant 1’.

The mutant releases will follow in the footsteps of his 2015 Conjure Series and shall be drip fed across the year by various labels owned by Estornel’s peers as well as via his own imprint, Ellum Audio. It is exciting times for the prolific producer, as well as his adoring followers, and no doubt this series will ignite dance-floors across the globe.

Let’s hope Maceo Plex can tour Australia soon, as his last attempted visit back at Pitch Music & Arts Festival in March didn’t quite go to plan!

Check out the Mutant 1 Track list:

    1: ‘Mutant DX’ feat. Maars

    2: ‘Mutant Moog’ feat. Maars

    3: ‘Mutant Disco’ feat. Maars

Correspondant will release Mutant 1 on May 18th, 2018.
