GOTCHA! Nope, trance superstar MaRLo and Enschway aren’t playing your mates little cousin’s 15th and instead will be throwing down for a huge weekend in Newcastle to celebrate the King Street’s own celebration of 15 years in the game.
Since it’s inception in 2003 when it renamed and refurbished what was previously The Castle (maybe the vibe wasn’t right?), the destination has been Newcastle’s go-to for quality dance and electronic music having hosted everyone from Boys Noize to Zed’s Dead.
Keeping to the theme of ~ quality music ~ you’ll be able to catch young trap prodigy Esnchway off the back of his Australian tour that has looked absolutely nuts and MaRLo’s always on-point uplifting goodness that has seen sell-outs of some stadium spec arenas.
Organisers have really made this an easy one with tickets as low as $10 for with students actually copping entry for free on the Friday night. In terms of refreshments you can cop $5 drinks till midnight on the Friday and $6 drinks until 11pm on the Saturday – yep, you read that correctly!
We’re expecting to see both nights hit capacity so best click the Facebook events below to keep in the loop with a first in best dressed approach happening so you’d best get your butt in gear. Also, Sydney to Newcastle is a pretty swift 2-hour drive or by train, just sayin’.
