Releasing their debut single ‘I Needed You feat. Nick De La Hoyde’ just last year, Sydney duo Boulevarde have impressed industry and fans alike with a songwriting sensibility well beyond their years. For the release of their follow up single ‘Plans’, they’ve teamed up with Melbourne singer/songwriter Aeora, who’s vocal delivery is nothing short of stunning; powerfully commanding whilst retaining beautifully raw and honest qualities.

Produced by the talented team over at Fat Poodle Productions, the release will be accompanied by the duo’s first official music video. Directed by award winning producer, Ellen Dedes-Vallas who’s previous work includes content for Nickelodeon and The Walt Disney Company, she finds a unique way of integrating Boulevarde and Aeora into the charming storyline of the clip.

On how the collaboration came to be, Boulevarde explains, “we’re always scouting for talented vocalists to work with, and we found this song on JJJ Unearthed by Aeora called Fenceline - it was so unique, so powerful and her vocal delivery just carried so much weight and emotion. It was one of those one’s where we were typing an email up before the song even ends.” WithAeora adding, “The lyrics and melodies came to me really quickly for this track. I was in this headspace of starting to realise I could feel content with how everything was going in my life and that I could just enjoy myself. I also really enjoyed the dynamic we created through working on this song together. It flowed really easily from my end when putting my ideas out there.”

Boulevarde’s new single ‘Plans’ is out now on Central Station Records.

Betical is the French sibling duo that produce eclectic and immersive electronic music. Embracing the musical world at the ripe age of ten 10, the brothers passion ignited soon after the prolific weight of the French touch movement. As we look forward to the release of their first ever EP later this year, Betical release the last slice of abstract and exhilarating work within new single, Strangers.

Betical derive from a technological restriction that saw the duo tackle solo work with only one laptop. As both brothers’ love for production grew, together with their needs for the laptop, they decided to join forces to make the most of their limited equipment. As well as leading music focused lives, one brother still holds an obsession in the equally creative industry of graphic design. Pushing this to the forefront of the Betical project, the brothers enjoy utilising this skill to create their brand, artwork and many other assets from scratch.

Betical’s biggest success, Control, garnered hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams, alongside electronic staples Voices and remixes of Casual and Back for More. Also known for superb reimagination of Kungs’ This Girl the duo showcased mainstream appeal with support from BBC Radio 1 amongst other key tastemakers. As the third release in the project, the Surrender single encapsulated Betical’s immense skill for producing music with cinematic appeal. Visually supported by their own video creation, Betical showcased an immersive gaming experience with a retro, glitchy landscape that captures their erratic flare perfectly.

Enjoying their focus on original productions, the final release ahead of the Strangers in the Night EP has come as a respectful nod to a delightfully obscure combination of soul and techno. Predominantly instrumental, Strangers is an expansive and unpredictable effort from Betical. Boasting heavily produced vocals that ride softly over the main event, which is of course the underlying and progressing vigour revealed within the prominent riff line.

Betical - Stranger is out now.

Australian psytrance duo Pysborg & Gigabit are proud to announce the release of their latest new track Ectenic Forces OUT NOW on  BNU Records and also available on Beatport, Apple Music and all good music retailers.

Best described as a unique hybrid of melodic psytrance and big beat breaks combined this track delivers something truly different. The song title Ectenic Forces refers to supposed physical forces emitted by the human mind. The track is inspired by the human condition and the psychic force that connects us all.

Their previous track Synchronicity released via Demon Tea Records celebrated the theory that we are all connected with our interactions not just by coincidence but rather as part of a bigger picture. A picture that we are all a part of painted with the spirit of a dancer or etched in dancefloor dust.

      About

Psyborg & Gigabit have combed the galaxy in search of sounds, bringing with them a truly unique hybrid of psytrance and breakbeats creating something different. Combining this with their theatrical and energetic stage presence makes this DJ/Production duo one to keep your eyes on. Featured in Mushroom Magazines "hits of Summer" charts at No.9 having worked alongside artists such as Martopeter and Dre Hectik you can expect to be seeing a lot more of these guys in 2019.
