NP Exclusive Premiere: NastyNasty – “Bouncing Souls”

    Ozclubbers.com.au

NastyNasty makes his Bassrush debut on the Insomniac imprint’s first-ever compilation to go hand-in-hand with upcoming festival Bassrush Massive.

The Bay Area producer’s experimental and forward-thinking sound cites influence from punk, dubstep, noise and rap genres. His so-called ‘Slimepunk’ releases have received praise from The Fader, Spin Magazine, Resident Advisor and more. Now, his brain-melting sound makes its way to Bassrush for a brand new single, “Bouncing Souls.”

Out Friday, “Bouncing Souls” starts off with a soundtrack-worthy introduction before exploding into a heart-pounding bassline, laser-like synths and unbelievably destructive low-end. The release is satisfyingly gritty and distorted, and is sure to destroy the dance floor during his upcoming performance at Bassrush Massive.

NastyNasty’s “Bouncing Souls” will be out this Friday on the Bassrush compilation, featuring 11 exclusive tracks out of 19 contributions from the festival’s performing acts. Get a sneak peek below.
