A birthday is a cause for celebration, and a time to reflect on the years that have passed. When Sweat It Out was founded, it was a platform to release and champion good music - starting with close friends, and soon after spreading to the wider music community. From the outset, standards were high and the music diverse, with the very first release of Gameboy/Gamegirl’s album ‘Golden Ghetto Sex’, and the second signing to the label, Killaqueenz with the anthemic single ‘Bitches’. To this day, regardless of experience, background or genre, to quote Ajax, it’s all about “shtick”. And to us, there was one track sitting in our music library collecting metaphorical dust, and now marking 10 years of Sweat It Out, we thought it time for this one to see the light of day. To the family, friends of Adrian “Ajax” Thomas, we hope you hear in this track what we have: his lively personality, his sense of humour, and most of all, pure unadulterated "shtick".

Accompanying the release, is a full music video created from the classic cartoon of Ajax's alter ego - walking past an art gallery of each Sweat It Out release artwork, again highlighting the evolution of the label over the past decade. With the initial wolf sketch created by OG Sweat designer Billmund, responsible for the creation of the iconic Sweat shoes, we were delighted to have his team on board to create this piece with us. Animated by Katy Ross, and polished by Walt Disney animator, Nick Harrop, they have given the wolf the style and swagger reminiscent of our main man Ajax.

‘I’m Hot’ is taken from the wider release ‘Sweat It Out 2008 - 2018’, which is not only a celebration of the legacy of Ajax, but the successes the label has seen over the years. With side A focusing on the Dance Legend himself, the full release features 16 tracks carefully picked from a very Sweaty catalogue of over 217 releases to date. From iconic moments like the first release, to office favourites, and the first couple of acts to break-out globally, it is both a momentous and meaningful summary of what has been achieved. And furthermore, we look forward to another 10 years of celebrating great music and great people, in loving memory of Ajax.

Ajax ‘I’m Hot’ and Sweat It Out 2008 - 2018 are out now on Sweat It Out, and available via all leading music retailers.

Touch Of Loft (TOL) started as a series of raves in Sydney thrown in off license venues, curator Nathaniel Garry at the helm alongside his compadres have kept a steady slew of underground events coming across the last few years and 2017 saw the birth of TOL Records for which Papa K and Nathaniel Garry teamed up to produce the first piece of wax born through the label. With a string of digital releases having followed and both digital and vinyl offerings forthcoming TOL is set to deliver plenty more musical delights to listeners through both their parties & releases.

Papa K's Mirage EP see's the most unique release yet to grace TOUCH OF LOFT come to life with three twisted minimal cuts from the Brisbane maestro.

*Mirage* the title track sees a seriously lush pad soaring over a wonky minimal beat entwined with bubbling analogue melodies and glitchy textures

Track two, *Opposite of Rewop* a deep minimal roller, brings light to a dreamy pad bedded in a sea of lazer like percussion transporting the listener to realms unknown

Rounding out the release is the stripped back and bass heavy after hours number *Disaster* perfect for those early morning sets, filled with tripped out textures and devilish vocals.
