    SYMBOLS – Album Launch Event

    October 12th 2018

    Printworks, London

Surrey Quays Rd, London SE16 7PJ

As a pioneer of electronic music and specifically #TRANCE, Paul van Dyk has inspired the continued evolution of his beloved genre. The last two years have seen Paul invigorated with creativity, writing new music plus launching a new LIVE show – paramount to maintaining the global profile of Trance with PvD at the forefront.  Symbols will see Paul exploring the full Trance spectrum with that trademark purity and renewed focus. In his own words Symbols is an album deeply rooted in story-telling, mystery and adventure.  It’s an exploration of trance, a journey through the breadth and depth of a genre that continues to enthral me as an artist.”

The event will be hosted in the state-of-the-art LIVE space at Printworks, a venue which has welcomed acts of stature such as The Chemical Brothers and Pendulum amongst others. As a former newspaper printing press, its industrial space forms arguably the most exciting new UK venue – with PvD specifically selecting it for this album launch event:

“Shows like these are testament to the musicality and the popularity of trance. I am proud to continue to open up new spaces and people to our music, and doing so in a beautiful venue like Printworks, the day Symbols is released, is a dream come true. I’ve always felt that the UK has one of the most attuned audiences in regards to trance and I’m tremendously grateful for all the support I’ve received from the London crowd over the years. Printworks seems to be the ideal venue to debut the album in a live setting. It will be a very special show.” Paul Van Dyk
