Following on from tech-house smash Generate earlier this year, Flash 89 is welcomed to the esteemed Solotoko label by head honcho himself Sonny Fodera, for latest killer release in the form of the Tattle Tail EP.

Lead EP track Tattle Tail is a rhythmic stomper on first listen, with an invigorating bassline underpinned beneath stuttering clicks and pulses that surrounds a grooving diva vocal. Meanwhile, Lofty transports us to deeper dimensions with an exhilarating build up that ascends into a club ready beast.

Flash 89 is a name that is continuing to magnify in size on the scene, turning the heads of underground peers and tastemakers alike. It was his remix of PNAU’s Go Bang that catapulted him beyond the Australian landscape landing him plays on BBC Radio 1. Shortly after, hefty club tracks continued to follow including Generate and the Blueprint EP as well as collaboration with Sonny Fodera himself on The Sytem via Adobe. With these slew of hair raising tracks already under his belt it’s no wonder Flash 89 gets the nod of approval from the likes of Danny Howard, De La Swing, Eli Brown, Detlef, Richy Ahmed, Huxley and more. With more material up his sleeves, prepare for Australia’s next high riser to dominate the dance circuit globally.

Hardwell is the seasoned-veteran DJ/producer that’s behind Spinnin’s mammoth new tune. Boasting multiple international new music Friday playlists already, How You Love Me is a pop infused single that features the hugely respected artists, Conor Maynard and Snoop Dogg.

As one of the leading pioneers in the world of electronic music, Hardwell runs his award-winning label as well as directing award-winning documentaries. All whilst tending to a cool 9 million on Facebook (and rising). Hardwell’s impressive plethora of work includes collaborations with Craig David, Jason Derulo and Austine Mahone. Having filled numerous headline slots at the biggest world-wide events, Hardwell has graced the stages of Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza among others. Recently expanding his extensive reach with unique projects such as a live orchestra show at this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event. In addition, his Indian United We Are and Guestlist4good charity shows saw remarkable attendance. A hundred thousand people joined in order to aid children educationally within the Magic Bus program.

Pop sensation Conor Maynard is an artist who also boasts many strings to his bow. As the man behind vast Spotify streams, Conor’s incessantly up beat personality and determination has seen him gain the role of Charlie Price in the Tony award winning musical Kinky Boots, chart in over 25 countries, and reach an incredible 118m streams with another Spinnin release, Whenever.

Continuously pushing boundaries, Hardwell has delivered a smooth slice of tropical pop. Kicking off with the iconic voice of Snoop Dogg, Conor Maynard follows with a heavy dose of pop flavour with the subtle addition of shy Conor styled sexiness. How You Love Me is a sunny exploration from three monster’s in the music industry, flexing their musical muscles to provide us with a champagne filled celebration with the swagger of smug love.

Following on from highly praised single Faith alongside Stace Cadet and Yeah Boy, Benson gets set to release the ultimate Faith remix package. Enlisting fellow comrades Motez, Kyle Watson and Holmes John to flaunt their rework skills on the single, check out the Faith (Remixes) via Medium Rare Recordings.

Motez is the first of the three revered producers to work their magic on the heavenly original. With deep pulsing drum lines and euphoric rhythms, Motez takes Faith to wondrously sacred heights. Meanwhile, Kyle Watson delivers not only a earth shattering remix but a glorious dub of the miraculous single. Elsewhere, we witness high riser Holmes John step up to demonstrate his skills on the majestic remix package, ascending dancefloors to darker dimensions of biblical proportion.

Having already had an exceptional year, Benson’s career continues to skyrocket. The Australian producer has accumulated millions of streams with the likes of originals including Hold Out and a remix of Stace Cadet’s High. Not stopping there, Benson is also dominating our airwaves with national airplay whilst securing an in demand residency slot with triple J. Gig-wise, Benson impressively launched a sold-out headline tour. Clearly demonstrating himself as an artist of prominence, we can’t wait to see where Benson takes us next on his musical journey.

Meanwhile, fellow friend and producer Motez continues to push the boundaries of your regular house producer that goes unrivalled. His tantalising skills within the booth and studio have landed him remix opportunities for the likes of Disclosure, Sam Smith and Ellie Goulding whilst releasing a slew of hefty originals including The Future which garnered support from BBC Radio 1 and triple J as well as amassing over 12 million streams. Also demonstrating flawless remix artistry, Kyle Watson has crafted an impressively unique style that has secured him remixes with the likes of Rudimental, ZHU, Oliver Heldens and more, whilst rising artist Holmes John continues to rise above the ranks with his stand out production capabilities.

Corey Layzell is an up and coming artist that boasts over 3m Spotify streams from his steady flow of self-releases. Known as orchestral pop, Corey is a self-taught musician that quickly garnered support from BBC introducing and various New Music Friday playlists.  His new single, These Hands, is another emotive exploration of his more pop tinged song writing style.

This Essex based singer/songwriter derived his sound from an obsession with choral work, and piano accompaniment. Previous releases include equally ambitious Broken Crayons, Blind and What Love Is all feature his own lyrics, melodies, accompaniment and vocals. Enjoying solo work, Corey always promises a vocal heavy extravaganza after carefully crafted his sound from genuine musical curiosity within the home. A few years later and his skillset amasses over six instruments… and counting!

Described as ‘wild and fantastic’ by BBC Introducing’s Ollie Winniberg, Corey has a side to him that feels refreshingly untamed and utterly authentic. Corey uses heartfelt, guttural vocals to depict real life struggles after his journey from a hard upbringing, to his eventually happily ever after. Still making music from his hometown, Corey draws influence from pop giants like Sia and Ed Sheeran.

New single These Hands brims with pop infused harmonies and Corey’s obvious melisma skills. Fighting for love once more, this is a powerful and undeniably beautiful depiction of the shameless risk one takes when falling in love. Dream like melodies lure you in, before soaring high into an epic final chorus that showcases a battle for the ultimate love story.

A birthday is a cause for celebration, and a time to reflect on the years that have passed. When Sweat It Out was founded, it was a platform to release and champion good music - starting with close friends, and soon after spreading to the wider music community. From the outset, standards were high and the music diverse, with the very first release of Gameboy/Gamegirl’s album ‘Golden Ghetto Sex’, and the second signing to the label, Killaqueenz with the anthemic single ‘Bitches’. To this day, regardless of experience, background or genre, to quote Ajax, it’s all about “shtick”. And to us, there was one track sitting in our music library collecting metaphorical dust, and now marking 10 years of Sweat It Out, we thought it time for this one to see the light of day. To the family, friends of Adrian “Ajax” Thomas, we hope you hear in this track what we have: his lively personality, his sense of humour, and most of all, pure unadulterated "shtick".

Accompanying the release, is a full music video created from the classic cartoon of Ajax's alter ego - walking past an art gallery of each Sweat It Out release artwork, again highlighting the evolution of the label over the past decade. With the initial wolf sketch created by OG Sweat designer Billmund, responsible for the creation of the iconic Sweat shoes, we were delighted to have his team on board to create this piece with us. Animated by Katy Ross, and polished by Walt Disney animator, Nick Harrop, they have given the wolf the style and swagger reminiscent of our main man Ajax.

‘I’m Hot’ is taken from the wider release ‘Sweat It Out 2008 - 2018’, which is not only a celebration of the legacy of Ajax, but the successes the label has seen over the years. With side A focusing on the Dance Legend himself, the full release features 16 tracks carefully picked from a very Sweaty catalogue of over 217 releases to date. From iconic moments like the first release, to office favourites, and the first couple of acts to break-out globally, it is both a momentous and meaningful summary of what has been achieved. And furthermore, we look forward to another 10 years of celebrating great music and great people, in loving memory of Ajax.

Ajax ‘I’m Hot’ and Sweat It Out 2008 - 2018 are out now on Sweat It Out, and available via all leading music retailers.
