Starting this Wednesday, December 6, Moogfest and Tom Tom Magazine present Always On, a 50-hour global livestream with continuous, hour-long live performances from female, transgender, and non-binary artists around the world. The livestream will be broadcast at http://AlwaysOn.Live starting at 12pm ET this Wednesday until 2pm ET this Friday.
As described below by electronic music artist and activist Madame Gandhi, the livestream celebrates the abundance of female, transgender, and non-binary artists actively exploring the possibilities and frontiers hidden within electronic music, despite under representation in major music spaces.
The Always On lineup will be released alongside Wednesday’s larger festival announcement. Until then, set an alert and prepare to explore the singular sonic worlds that these masterful creators occupy.
The livestream will be available for free at http://AlwaysOn.Live. You can watch from anywhere beginning at 12pm ET on Wednesday December 6 until 2pm ET on Friday December 8.
      Moogfest takes place in Durham, N.C. May 17 – 20, 2018

You tube user Vollmaze (also known as panic303) just put up this rather raw and intense acid session on his minimalist hardware setup (Korg ESX, X0XB0X, Microkorg, Kaoss pad 3).
I was quite impressed with the overall sound and flow and so thought I’d put it up. Pop by and give the dude a thumbs up or feedback.
