    GNTN - Pressphoto (2017) - Small
One of our favourite rising acts is german techno duo GNTN.

The boys are riding a wave of success at the moment having recently headlined at Parookaville festival and  their latest release ‘Helios’ was premiered by Mixmag. They are certainly ones to watch and have already found support from some of the biggest names in the scene including Felix Kröcher & Joseph Capriati.  We are predicting big things.

Regular readers of the blog will be no stranger to GNTN. In fact Jan & Marcel have become good friends of ours and we even flew them over to the UK to play at our 5th Birthday Party. They also did a mix for us back in 2015 which you can grab from our Soundcloud.

Since their first signed release in 2014 on Hotfingers Records they have had releases on Selected Records, Voltage Records, Endless Music and Familia. No surprise given their dedication to the sutdio and the high-octane melodic techno that they produce – it’s made for dancelfoors.

We asked Jan & Marcel to curate a speically selected playlist of their five tracks of the moment and to pen a few words about what each track means to them. It’s one hell of a selection, and it’s landed just in time for the weekend.

GNTN – Helios is relesed today on Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid imprint – get it HERE.

    1. GNTN – Helios
Our baby offers a well balanced combination of a driving bassline, melodic synths and a general 90’s touch.
    2. Township Rebellion – Dolores
Superb selection of synths and sounds which create a bright and euphoric atmosphere throughout the arrangement. The sound of Township Rebellion is really different and futuristic!
    3. Clint Stewart – Breathe (Timmo Rework)
The track has some mysterious vibes in the break which make it really interesting in combination with the driving drop part.
    4. Oliver Huntemann – Rotlicht
Absolute banger drums in combination with dark synths. The composition is one of a kind and drives people crazy on the dance floor.
    5. Reinier Zonneveld & Mees Salomé – Depth
Pretty interesting collaboration by two decent and uprising artists. The baseline goes perfect with the synth on top and offers some nice vibes for the opening of a set
