Woodstock Music Festival 1969, which is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in music history, and listed by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll, is returning to its original location for its 50th anniversary!
Live Nation and Invnt will bring the legendary festival back to life at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on August 15-18, 2019.
The Original Woodstock boasted performances from rock and roll’s greats, such as Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead and many more.
The attendance recorded from the original event was around 400,000 people, and to put things into perspective, Coachella, perhaps our generation’s most famous festival, has a capacity of just 99,000 for each weekend. Missing this festival is NOT an option unless you want to be battling serious FOMO for the next 25 years.
